Which players Made The Expert's Premier League Team of the Week?

Following each set of Premier League matches this season, football pundit Troy Deeney will reveal his select XI and Head Coach of the Week.

Check out the latest picks. Do you agree? Tell us using the feedback form at the bottom of the page.

Between the Sticks

Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham): Even though ending up on the defeated team versus Chelsea, his teammates left him exposed. He faced 18 attempts, nine directed at goal, with an expected goals of 3.36 for the visitors but he made crucial saves. He never gave up on his team.

Defenders

Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City): The talented teen is exceptional. Usually a midfield engine, he slots in intelligently at left-back. His display in the victory against the Cherries was impressive, establishing him as a rising talent.

Gabriel (the Gunners): A constant menace, he helped secure a further shutout for his club. He is a nuisance from set-pieces, and his presence was decisive in the triumph at Turf Moor. Rival teams are intimidated by him.

Jean-Clair Todibo (the Hammers): Included for a couple of factors: West Ham's win and his composed, assured showing. Although the Magpies underperformed, he excelled in possession and settled the play. Following a few uncertain displays, he appears to have grown under boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ryan Sessegnon (the Cottagers): He ignited the side in the victory over Wolves. Excellent going forward and consistent all season, he has found the net recently. Fantastic to see him healthy and playing.

Engine Room

Moises Caicedo (Chelsea): The sole midfielder everyone agrees on. Absolutely pivotal for Chelsea, he was the top tackler. An energizer, he pushes everyone forward. Perhaps the best holding midfielder in the game.

Declan Rice (the Gunners): Another key display against Burnley. An absolute beast, he scored and excels from dead balls. When they face lesser teams, he regains energy and executes more attacking runs. Crucial to unleash him.

Ryan Gravenberch (the Reds): He advanced, scoring against a poor Aston Villa side. His skill to control the game with and without the ball, along with his awareness and challenges, rendered him essential to the victory.

Attack

Diego Gomez (Brighton): He netted two goals versus Leeds, but he was elegant gliding past opponents. Moving quickly and strongly, he was preferred over fellow attacker Danny Welbeck for this spot.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City): What more can be said about this phenomenon? Each occasion he got through, you expected a score. He didn't appear like missing. The King has returned. Despite summer talk about alternate forwards, the Norwegian reigns supreme. He could shatter goal tallies this year.

Rayan Cherki (City): Playing as a right winger is his ideal role. Incredibly ambidextrous, uncommon since Santi Cazorla. He can take set-pieces equally well. A skilled footballer, he appears sharp post-recovery. His connection with Haaland is clearly why he was signed.

Manager

Nuno Espirito Santo (the Hammers): If you missed it, just watch the way he celebrated their third versus Newcastle. That shows how much it matters to him and the squad. He's aware they face challenges, yet they need to get through and secure results.
