Moist weather were predicted to continue along large portions of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a weather pattern continued to pull in damp air against the coastal areas.

The following day was expected to become the wettest day, with ongoing severe weather risk expected across various areas of both regions.

Public health experts warned that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, particularly given the current weather patterns.
